Its compact design allows it to fit in a 5.25" drive bay. This enclosure also supports easy swapping of drives for additional storage. The DataPort 10 SAS/SATA frame can support either a DataPort 10 SATA carrier or the DataPort 10 SAS carrier when connected to a SAS host bus adapter. This feature allows data migration from SATA systems to SAS workstations or servers. The carrier is equipped with CRU's patented Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS), and an audible alarm will notify you if the drives begin to overheat so that you can prevent data loss or drive malfunction/damage. This removable enclosure has a Vapo Bearing MagLev (Magnetic Levitation System) cooling fan, which provides optimal heat dissipation needed by 15,000 rpm 3.5" SAS/SATA hard disk drives.
